Establishing A Wildlife Discovery Center

Since creating Echoes Of Nature in the summer of 2002, we have steadily increased the annual size of our audience and the scope of our organization. We have now reached the point where we have outgrown our current accommodations. Our goal is to establish a Wildlife Discovery Center that will allow us to continue to grow our outreach programs and operate a facility that is open to the public. The WDC will include presentation rooms as well as indoor and outdoor exhibits. These exhibits will feature Maryland native wildlife in recreations of their habitats. For more about EON's background and vision for a center, open the documents below.

Visitors can see recreations of Maryland habitats with examples of native species.

The center wouldn't be complete without an Otter Habitat so visitors can see these playful mammals.

With a center, EON can increase our staff and ambassador roster in order to better serve the community.

The Wildlife Discovery Center will include exhibits depicting the Chesapeake Bay waterway including the bay proper and those who live there.
